Here at PBC, we have undertaken hundreds of loft extensions in Essex, East London and surrounding areas, in a variety of different property types. We have extensive knowledge and experience in all types of loft extensions.
The most common type of loft extension would consist of a timber construction with steel work as foundation, then we would build a steel construction and then install floor joists and dormers, cut old roof out while supporting it, and install stair case. Interior design and finish can be made to the customers specific requirements.
Loft Extenstions
All of our loft extensions are completed using a tin hat scaffolding setup, which is a complete 360 degree structure, finished with tarpaulin to ensure maximum safety and limit any mess that an extension could cause.
Average time for an extension or loft extension is 6-8 weeks, although if time is an issue we can speed up loft extensions, but an absolute minimum turn around time would be 2 weeks. We endeavor to minimise structural work (where possible) and cause minimal intrusion to your day to day lives. Mess clean up as standard with all loft extensions, and after-build maid service optional, with guaranteed satisfaction.
